Condition and function
Hand-painted lakeside scene with a leaping salmon on one face and pines on the other, signed by the painter. The Minton bone china backstamp is crisp and the original paper refuelling label is still on the base, intact and legible. Chrome bright, with light handling marks to the lift arm. Made in England, stamped BRIT. PAT. 621570.
Patina is described rather than hidden. Nothing here has been replated or refinished to look newer than it is.
